‘ An ominous dark shape took its form on the horizon in front of me. We’re used to the occasional squall out here. The wind starts to build and the slanting haze of rain appears up wind. As you estimate how long you’ve got, you toy with the decision of stripping off — Mother Nature’s shower — or layering up. Dawn was still a couple of hours away, so the decision was made to get a jacket on. ‘
